Where kids rooms are concerned it is really is up to the parents and kids themselves to decide on the theme, but we can offer helpful ideas if required.

There are so many options. Some people like two different solid colors or just a single color with a wallpaper border half way up. Simple stencil design can add colour and interest to walls.

At CD&I Hong Kong we have painted full wall murals with scenes of grass and animals and water and sea creatures. Colourwash is also a popular choice for kids' rooms because of the sort finish with light appearing to glow through the colour. In nurseries we have painted fun clouds on the ceiling and walls. Colourful colourful balloons and strings appear to float magically from behind the cot.

Floors can be sanded back and stained white or painted a solid color. Old tired wardrobes, cots and beds can be given a new lease of life with paint.
